Ronald Long McGrath
Managing Director
Long Ronald McGrath set up Surety Bonds with the vision that we would be the go-to broker for bonds in Africa and Europe. Ronald was previously Commercial Director of ISG, a business established in 1959. He continues to be a director of that company. Ronald Long is a member of the Insurance Institute of Sligo and a highly regarded Surety Expert with some of the top construction companies in Africa among his clients.
Danny Philips
Bond Broker
Having joined the company soon after its inception in 2013, Danny took the forefront of managing the company’s Bond and Capital Management Services. Along with his team, Danny manages the administration of our clients’ surety and bond requirements. He has a keen understanding of the bond market and bond wordings enabling him to provide sound and clear advice to our customers.. Danny has a BBS Hons in Accountancy, a MBS in Economics & International Finance, is a Qualified Financial Advisor and has Accredited Product Advisor qualification from the Insurance Institute of Ireland.
Julie Doherty
Financial Analyst
Julie joined the Surety Bonds team in 2020 having previously worked in the area of financial risk within the banking industry in London, South Africa, Canada and Dublin. Her expertise enable her to support the bond brokers by providing detailed financial analysis of current and prospective clients. Grainne has a BSc in Economics from UCD and is a member of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
